Darren Fletcher believes Sadio Mane could be Liverpool’s most menacing player when the Reds take on Manchester United this weekend.
The two bitter rivals lock horns at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, with Jurgen Klopp’s side looking to retain their 100 percent record in the Premier League this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Fletcher believes opposition sides’ focus on Mohamed Salah has benefited Mane, admitting the whole front-three pose a massive threat:
I think we are seeing teams emphasising stopping [Mohamed] Salah a little bit more, which has allowed [Sadio] Mane to come to the fore.
You can’t really focus on one because the other one will take advantage of it.
You’ve got to be aware of all of them really, the front three are very dangerous the way they play. [Roberto] Firmino drops in, Mane and Salah dart into the spaces from wide areas.
United will be well aware of that, if you want to win the game you have to stop them.

Fletcher arguably has a point with regards to Salah, who so often finds himself marked by two men.
The Egyptian hasn’t always hit top gear this season, but the level of attention that opposing team pay to him should not be forgotten.
The beauty of Liverpool’s front-three is that even if two of them experience an off day, the third often excels.
None have performed particularly well at Old Trafford down the years – they have no goals between them there in a Reds shirt – and Sunday would be the perfect time to change that.
