Sadio Mane has revealed Mohamed Salah’s “strange” reaction to their bust-up earlier this season.
The incident occurred against Burnley at Turf Moor, when Mane felt Salah should have passed the ball to him inside the box for an easy tap in.

The Senegal international was furious at Salah on the bench after being withdrawn and had to be held back and calmed down by teammates.
As quoted on Talksport, Mane admitted:
He said to me ‘Sadio, why are you angry?’ I told him, ‘You needed to give me the ball, Mo’, to which he replied, ‘I didn’t see you. You know I’ve got nothing against you’.
I know that, but his reaction was a bit strange to me. We talk on the phone sometimes, we text each other and we don’t have a problem.
We talked between ourselves, and then the manager called me into his office and we spoke. I told him it was already sorted and he was pleasantly surprised.

The less we talk about this the better. Both players are key to the Liverpool squad and as Mane revealed, they’ve settled the matter personally.
Maybe Salah honestly just never saw Mane during the attack, but even then, it is possible that there is still some sort of friction present because both players are noticeably passing the ball to one another a lot less than last season.
They’re both in good goalscoring form, which is what matters for the club.
