Liverpool drew 1-1 with Manchester United on Sunday, in what proved to be another below-par performance from the Reds at Old Trafford.
Things were tense among both fanbases, but that wasn’t the only place where nerves were on show and emotions were running high.
Sat alongside Martin Tyler in the Sky Sports commentary box were Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville, with a camera following their every move throughout proceedings.
Once the final whistle had blown, brilliant footage emerged of the pair reacting to the action, with Carragher celebrating hilariously when Adam Lallana equalised late on, much to the disgust of Neville.
The Liverpool legend posted a screenshot of the moment on Twitter, with the words, “#NewProfilePic” – these Reds supporters reacted to it joyously.

People will focus on you but it’s Nevilles utter dejection that makes it

Read Liverpool Verdict
It’s great to see how much it means to both Carragher and Neville – if anything, the latter’s horror at Liverpool scoring is even better than the former’s happiness.
A draw was ultimately a fair result on Sunday, with the Reds way below their best and United’s limitations on show.
It is a scoreline that few Liverpool fans would have taken before the game, but Lallana’s late equaliser made it feel like an important point.
It could be a massive goal come the end of the season.
