Liverpool are free to sign a big-money kit deal with Nike next season, after winning a High Court battle, according to Goal‘s Neil Jones on Twitter.
The Reds have been involved in a dispute with current kit sponsor New Balance, but the issue was resolved on Friday.
New Balance claimed that they had first refusal over extending their current contract, due to a ‘matching clause’ in the deal.
The court didn’t see it that way, however, meaning Liverpool can now seal an exciting deal with Nike.
These Liverpool supporters reacted to the news on Twitter, calling for Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe to be signed, due to his Nike connections.
