Liverpool will hope to keep their winning form going when they face Arsenal in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup at Anfield on Wednesday night.
The Reds are coming into this game off the back of a fantastic 2-1 win over Tottenham in the Premier League, leading the way and also finding themselves in a good position in the Champions League.
Even though the Carabao Cup may not be at the top of the list of priorities for many around Anfield, it is a competition where Jurgen Klopp can rotate his key players and field some of the fringe and young talent.
In terms of injury news, Joel Matip is confirmed to be out for six weeks, meaning Liverpool are down to having just three fit centre-backs. Nathaniel Clyne and Xherdan Shaqiri are also missing.
Meanwhile, Klopp won’t play Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah, irrespective of the fact that they have recovered from minor knocks.
Here’s how the manager may line-up his XI for the game…
