Dejan Lovren came into the Liverpool team to face Spurs over the weekend, with Joel Matip watching on from the sidelines.
The Croatian put in a solid performance at Anfield, despite the initial concerns from some supporters.

It’s great to see this from Klopp. It’s clever from the German too. He knows full well that Lovren is going to be required over the coming weeks.
Lovren has pushed himself back ahead of Joe Gomez in the pecking order at Anfield and the confidence he’ll get from Klopp will give him a huge and timely boost.
Man-management has always been one of Klopp’s biggest strengths and with his defence due to be tested in Matip’s absence, supporters will soon see just what an impact he can have on a player.
