Alisson, Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane have all been nominated for the Best Men’s Player of the Year Award at the annual Globe Soccer Awards.
The quartet have enjoyed a memorable year for the Reds, winning the Champions League and almost clinching Premier League glory with a club record 97 points.
Alisson cemented his reputation as the world’s leading goalkeeper, while Van Dijk was a colossus at the back, making him the favourite to win the Ballon d’Or later this year.
Salah and Mane have also proved to be typically unplayable, wreaking havoc on either flank.
The Liverpool foursome will battle with legendary pair Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for the prize, along with Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva.
The awards will be held in Dubai towards the end of December.

Van Dijk is the most likely Liverpool player to take home the award, but he lost out to Messi in the recent Best FIFA Men’s Player category.
The Dutchman deserves to win it, despite the magic of Messi, following one of the great individual seasons by a Reds player.
