It can’t be much fun being an Arsenal fan at the moment, with the Gunners often finding themselves the butt of the joke.
Unai Emery’s side thought they had picked up a much-needed win at Anfield in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, only for them to draw 5-5 and then lose on penalties.
Despite the loss, one Arsenal fan on Twitter attempted to mock Roberto Firmino after game, pointing out that both Lucas Torreira and Gabriel Martinelli have scored more goals than the Brazilian at Anfield this season.
A Liverpool supporter responded perfectly, reminding him that the north Londoners have lost on more occasions there in the last two years than Jurgen Klopp’s men.
These Reds fans loved the response, putting the individual in his place.

Read Liverpool Verdict
It is a perfect comeback, with Firmino’s goalscoring record often something that rival supporters are critical of.
Firstly, 69 goals in 207 Reds appearances, going at an average of one every three games, is perfectly good.
Secondly, goals are far from the most important aspect of the Brazilian’s game, with his ability to drop deep and create chances allowing Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane to score more from out wide.
Could Firmino’s finishing be slightly more ruthless at times? Yes. Does it affect the team or his importance to it? Not in the slightest.
