If Rodri does make a surprise comeback this weekend, it will be an undoubted boost for City.
The Spanish midfielder impressed for his new club before injury, having joined from Atletico Madrid in the summer.
That being said, Rodri would likely be rusty for the game, which could backfire against a team as relentless as Liverpool.
Either way, the Reds should go into the match full of confidence, believing they can pull nine points clear of their title rivals.
