Ederson was replaced at half-time during Manchester City’s 1-1 draw away to Atalanta on Wednesday night, prior to Claudio Bravo being sent-off and Kyle Walker having to go in goal late on.
There were immediate concerns surrounding the goalkeeper’s involvement against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, as the Premier League title rivals lock horns.
Ederson hasn’t yet been ruled out of the game, but he is a serious doubt, judging by Pep Guardiola’s comments after the final whistle.
These Liverpool fans on Twitter are still convinced Ederson will play, however.

Read Liverpool Verdict
Although Ederson does legitimately look a doubt for Sunday’s clash, it would be no great shock if he started.
Liverpool would be handed a massive boost if Brazil’s No.2 misses out, meaning the suspect Bravo would have to come in between the sticks.
Guardiola’s mind games have been in full flow this week, though, so don’t believe anything until the starting lineups are announced an hour before kickoff.
