Liverpool could be alerted to the news that Quincy Promes is eyeing up a move to the Premier League.
The Dutchman has been linked with the Reds down the years, although nothing concrete has ever emerged.
The 27-year-old joined Ajax from Sevilla in the summer, where he has scored eight goals in 13 appearances this season, including one in the 4-4 draw away to Chelsea on Tuesday night.
Despite only moving clubs recently, Promes seems interested in heading to England eventually.
When asked by reporters about his chances of playing Premier League football one day, the Netherlands international said:
To me, if I have a chance, maybe in the future.

Promes has been highly-rated for some time now, and while he may not have reached his potential as this point in his career, he remains an exciting player.
He would bring depth and quality to Liverpool’s attack, if Jurgen Klopp ever considered bringing him to Anfield.
At 27, he may be slightly too old to justify signing, however, considering he is the same age as Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
