Kevin De Bruyne didn’t have his best game at Anfield on Sunday, but he is an extraordinary footballer.
The 28-year-old was powerless to prevent Liverpool from beating Manchester 3-1, pulling eight points clear of their rivals in the process.
De Bruyne is believed to have grown up as a Reds supporter, prior to becoming one of world football’s most influential players.
The Belgian was spotted holding a long conversation with Mohamed Salah and Jurgen Klopp after Sunday’s game, in a clip that lasts almost two minutes:

Kdb>mbappe, i’d rather had kdb in our squad

KDB wouldn’t get in over Gini Wijnaldum anyway. Would make a good squad player though

Read Liverpool Verdict
The thought of De Bruyne being in Liverpool’s midfield is a mouthwatering one.
His creativity would take the Reds up another gear, allowing the front-three to flourish even more.
On his day, there is an argument to say that he is the Premier League’s best player.
Unfortunately, the chances of him ever becoming a Liverpool player appear slim, but we can all dream!
