Sergio Aguero is one of the best strikers in Premier League history, and Manchester City’s record goalscorer.
He has tormented Liverpool at times at the Etihad down the years, including a crucial goal in last season’s meeting.
The Argentine’s performances at Anfield couldn’t be more different, however, and he went into Sunday’s clash still looking for his first-ever goal there.
Aguero once again failed in that respect, missing one huge chance and generally struggling to impress, as Liverpool ran out 3-1 winners.
These supporters mocked the City legend for another poor showing at home of the Reds.

Aguero is world class.
Unless he plays against Liverpool.
Or in the champions league.
Or for Argentina.— allasFCB (@allas_FCB) November 10, 2019

Read Liverpool Verdict
Aguero is a wonderful player, but there is no denying that he shrinks whenever he plays an Anfield.
Numerous great footballers have suffered the same fate in the past, with the atmosphere always having the potential to get in the heads of opposition stars.
It is remarkable that Aguero still hasn’t scored there and Liverpool’s defenders deserve huge credit for keeping him quiet.
