Andy Robertson is a doubt for Liverpool’s next game, having picked up an ankle injury, according to The Athletic‘s James Pearce.

The Reds don’t play again until November 23rd, away to Crystal Palace, but Robertson could miss out.

The 25-year-old has already withdrawn from Scotland’s squad for their upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Cyprus and Kazakhstan.

Robertson is believed to have picked up an issue similar to that of Mohamed Salah, with the Egyptian also potentially missing out at Selhurst Park.

Robertson’s possible absence would be a huge blow for Liverpool, considering his influence.

He has become one of the world’s leading left-backs, if not the best, with his end product and defensive tenacity making him a vital part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans.

Klopp made the decision not to bring in a backup to Robertson during the summer, with James Milner capable of filling in and youngster Yasser Larouci also an option.

The hope is that the Scot will recover in time for the game, as Liverpool look to keep their stunning Premier League form going.
