Liverpool have no interest in signing Denis Zakaria, according to The Athletic’s James Pearce.
The Reds have been loosely linked with making a move for the Borussia Monchengladbach star, along with Manchester United and Arsenal.
Jurgen Klopp is believed to be happy with the midfield options at his disposal, however, so any talk of Zakaria heading to Anfield is wide of the mark.
Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have also been tipped to make a move for the Switzerland international.

Midfield is arguably Liverpool’s most underrated area of the pitch, at a time when the likes of Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson and the front-three all earn so much praise.
Klopp has seven or eight strong players to choose from in the middle of the park, so there is no great need to bring in reinforcements.
Zakaria is a good player in his own right, though, and he could potentially be an option further down the line.
For the time being, there is no need for added midfield depth.
