Liverpool’s Joe Gomez is reportedly winning his battle to be fit for the clash with Crystal Palace this weekend, despite picking up a potential knee injury on England duty.
Gomez, along with teammate Jordan Henderson, withdrew from the squad for the clash with Kosovo, with Gomez picking up a knock in training.
However, according to the Liverpool Echo, Gomez’ injury is not serious, meaning that he is contention for the game with Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson, however, are still doubts for the clash at the weekend, with the pair both still recovering from ankle injuries.
