Besiktas remain keen on signing Loris Karius permanently, but rather cheekily want to pay the fee over four years.

The German is on a two-year loan spell at the Turkish giants, having been moved on by Liverpool after his nightmare in the 2018 Champions League final.

There has been speculation surrounding Karius’ future for months, with some rumours even claiming he could return to the Reds in January.

After some good form for Besiktas in recent weeks, however, they are keen to make his temporary move permanent, according to Fanatik, via Sport Witness.

If they sign him for €8 million, they want to space their payments out over a four-year period, with a deal potentially being agreed in January.

Karius has no future at Liverpool, despite certain reports suggesting otherwise.

The 26-year-old needs to seal a permanent move for his own good, in order to fully move on from his disastrous showing in Kiev.

Besiktas looks like an ideal destination for him, especially as the club seem to be appreciating him more now.

He remains a talented goalkeeper who is still maturing as a player, but there is almost no chance of him ever representing Liverpool again.
