Klopp’s ranking is fully justified, even though some Manchester City fans will no doubt point towards Guardiola winning a domestic treble last season.
The Liverpool boss has been more impressive because of having less resources to work his magic, winning club football’s biggest prize along the way.
The 52-year-old has been a stunning appointment by the Reds, perhaps even exceeding the expectations of him when he arrived in 2015.
Klopp is a manager at the peak of his powers, and if he can lead Liverpool to Premier League glory, legendary status will be officially sealed.
