James Maddison is eyeing up a new deal at Leicester City, acting as a potential blow to Liverpool.
The Reds have been seen as a potential future suitor for the 22-year-old, following some superb performance for the Foxes this season.
Manchester United have also been linked, but it could be that Maddison extends his stay at the King Power Stadium.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the attacking midfielder is “considering signing a new contract”, despite interest in him from bigger clubs.

Maddison has been one of the Premier League’s brightest attacking players so far this season, inspiring Leicester to second in the table.
The England international scored away to Liverpool back in October, but thankfully, James Milner’s late penalty earned the Reds a 2-1 win.
Although there are question marks surrounding exactly how good Maddison is – English players can occasionally be over-hyped – he would be an excellent signing by Liverpool.
Young, creative and good off the ball, he is tailor-made to thrive in a Jurgen Klopp team.
