The trio have been included on a 30-man shortlist for the award that has been dominated by two of the three Reds players over the last two years.

It’s certainly no surprise to see the trio make the shortlist once again, given their form and how they are three of the biggest names in African football.
Salah and Mane are likely to be among those picked out as favourites for the award, with the ceremony set to take place in Salah’s homeland of Egypt on January 7 2020.
