RB Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland was on target in the UEFA Champions League for the fifth consecutive match last night.
The Norway forward’s prolific form has seen the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool register heavy interest in his signature.

Salzburg’s victory and Liverpool’s draw to Napoli means that qualification into the last 16 of the competition is up for grabs. The 19-year-old has labelled the Reds as the world’s best team ahead of their upcoming clash.
As quoted on Bleacher Report, he said:
They are the world’s best team.
But we know we are good at home and if we are at our top level, we have a chance.

Haaland labelling Liverpool as the best team in the world is a hugely encouraging sign for Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds are keen to secure his signature and the fact he has acknowledged their superiority is a massive boost in their pursuit of him.
United fans won’t be happy listening to the prolific forward speaking so highly of Liverpool. What can we say, times have changed.
