Manchester City fans have been revelling in the news that key Liverpool man Fabinho will be out until the new year.
Liverpool confirmed on Friday that the midfielder is set for a spell on the sidelines following the ankle injury he suffered against Napoli in the Champions League.
While no surgery was required, the Brazilian won’t play again this year. It’s fair to say that these Manchester City fans on social media were not exactly saddened by the latest injury news coming out of Anfield.

While on the face of it, this is a major blow to the Reds, it might have just come at a good time – if there was such a thing.
Jurgen Klopp will feel confident enough in his midfield options to cover for the Brazilian over the next month or so.
Between now and the meeting with Tottenham in January, Liverpool only play Leicester from the top six on Boxing Day.
The fixture list has favoured the Reds here, much to the annoyance of rival supporters you’d imagine!
