Liverpool quartet Neco Williams, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott and Rhian Brewster will all be involved in the Carabao Cup clash with Aston Villa, before heading to Qatar for the Club World Cup.
That’s according to the Evening Standard‘s David Lynch, who says they will fly out after the quarter-final meeting at Villa Park, with the Club World Cup semi-final set to be played the following day.
The foursome were expected to stay in England, but they will meet up with the senior players, which comes as a surprise.
Jurgen Klopp is believed to be “keen to involve the youngsters”, considering the potential magnitude of being world champions.

Chances are, Williams, Jones, Elliott and Brewster won’t play in Qatar, but it is a nice touch from Klopp.
It shows that they are rated highly by the manager, who wants them to be part of proceedings in the Middle East.
A team of academy players will take on Villa, suggesting Klopp is almost willing to write off the Carabao Cup this season, with far bigger competitions to focus on.
