Details for Liverpool’s FA Cup third-round clash against Everton have been confirmed.
The Reds faced their Merseyside rivals in the Premier League on Wednesday evening and came out on top with a 5-2 win.
However, the two teams will not be separated for long, with an FA Cup date at Anfield now set.

As confirmed by Emma Sanders of BBC Sport via Twitter, Liverpool will face Everton on January 5, and the match will kick off at 16:01 PM.

FA Cup third-round matches will all begin one minute later than their usually-allocated time slots as a collective effort to raise awareness for mental health issues.
Reds fans will be able to watch the Merseyside Derby on Freeview television, with BBC One set to broadcast the outing at Anfield.
In the midst of a busy schedule, Jurgen Klopp could name another rotated team and will hope that Liverpool can continue their excellent form into the New Year.
