Leeds United loanee Ben White has been one of the Championship’s top performers this season, which has resulted in ‘genuine interest’ from Liverpool.
The Brighton defender has starred under Marcelo Bielsa in Yorkshire, helping the Whites cement their place in the Championship’s automatic spots after 19 games.

The Reds are thought to be keeping tabs on the youngster, however, former goalkeeper Paul Robinson believes that Tottenham are also tracking White.
Talking to Football Insider, former Leeds and Spurs man Robinson was asked who Jose Mourinho’s ‘dream signing’ could be, which led to the 40-year-old mentioning White’s name.
Depending on Vertonghen and Alderweireld, I wouldn’t mind seeing him strengthen at centre-back, somebody like Ben White at Leeds, somebody of that quality would be a great addition.
I’ve no doubt for one minute the Spurs scouts are looking at him because he stereotypically the type of player that Spurs want to sign – a young, talented player.
Whether Mourinho wants that or whether he wants some ready-made, world-class star that we know, I think he needs to strengthen on the back four.

The 22-year-old has burst onto the scene this season at Elland Road and has taken to the difficulties in the Championship with relative ease.
His quality on the ball could see him effortlessly slot into Jurgen Klopp’s squad, but if Robinson’s views are correct, the Reds may have to be quick on a proposed deal or risk missing out to Spurs.
White is set to turn out in a holding midfield role for Leeds this weekend, and if he can continue to impress, more top-tier sides will be keen on his services.
