Liverpool and Manchester United have been dealt a potential blow in their quest to signing Erling Haaland.
The 19-year-old is one of the most talked-about young players in Europe, following a stunning start to the season with Salzburg.
He already has 27 goals to his name, also becoming the first teenager to score in five consecutive Champions League matches.
According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Haaland has held talks with Borussia Dortmund over a potential move.
He is believed to have flown there on Wednesday, the day after Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Salzburg in Austria.
RB Leipzig, who are owned by the same company as Salzburg, are also mentioned as a possible suitor.

Liverpool’s interest in Haaland hasn’t felt as concrete as United’s, but this is still a slight blow.
The youngster is a player of enormous potential, already looking such a formidable striker at just 19.
Dortmund appear to be in pole position as things stand, but it will be interesting to see if there is a twist in the saga.
Haaland would have to bide his time for regular football if he did join Liverpool, which may work against them.
