Liverpool beat Watford 2-0 at Anfield in an uncomfortable encounter for supporters.
In the first half, surprisingly Watford looked the most likely team to take the lead. Doucoure and Sarr both missed sitters before Mohamed Salah punished the Hornets with a sublime finish as the Premier League leaders went in at half time 1-0 up.
Watford kept Liverpool on their toes in the second half and Anfield felt uneasy. However, the Egyptian king had other ideas, he scored a cheeky second goal and gave the European champions a well deserved victory.
After the win, these Liverpool fans on social media gave their verdict on the result.

There is not much for me to say except, the mentality giants keep marching on.
The performance itself was pretty poor and lethargic. Liverpool got caught in transition too many times by Watford and were very lucky to keep the clean sheet.
However, Joe Gomez was brilliant. He has been playing out of position lately but against Watford, it was evident that if you play him in his correct position, he has the potential to become a top defender.
Overall, Klopp’s Reds stay unbeaten and will now turn their attention to the Club World Cup in Qatar.
