Jurgen Klopp has been the subject of ‘lucrative’ bids from Chinese clubs, according to The Athletic‘s David Ornstein.
The 52-year-old signed a new deal at Liverpool last week, keeping him at Anfield until 2024.
It was a huge moment for the Reds, considering the manner in which Klopp has transformed the club since arriving in October 2015.
The German appears more than happy in his current job, but that hasn’t stopped certain clubs making attempts to snap him up.
Ornstein claims that Chinese teams have approached Klopp in recent times, but his only focus was on extending his stay at Liverpool.
The report also states that Bayern Munich are always keen on the idea of bringing the Reds boss to the club, should his circumstances ever change.

Thankfully, Klopp is a logical individual who isn’t swayed by the financial gains of moving to China.
There is nowhere near the same level of competitiveness and quality in the Chinese Super League, so it was surely never an option for him.
Hopefully, Klopp stays at Liverpool for as long as possible, extending his deal once more as 2024 eventually approaches.
