Timo Werner’s RB Leipzig exit is now “inevitable”, according to journalist Kevin Palmer.
The Germany striker has become one of the most highly-rated young forwards in Europe, leading the line expertly for Leipzig.
Liverpool have been linked with signing him numerous times in recent years, with many seeing him as a tailor-made Jurgen Klopp player.
The Reds have received a potential boost in their quest to sign Werner, after Palmer claimed Erling Haaland is set to move to Leipzig from Salzburg.
It means Werner will likely be allowed to move on to the next chapter in his career, wherever that may be.
Although it isn’t specified whether it is January or the summer that Haaland could come in, it is expected to be the latter.

Werner would be an outstanding signing if Liverpool managed to get it done.
The 23-year-old would add a huge amount of depth, while his versatility across the front-line would allow him to dovetail with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
The Reds appear to be one of the favourites to sign Werner, so this is definitely a story to keep an eye on.
