Jurgen Klopp has heaped praise on Leicester forward Jamie Vardy ahead of their clash with the Foxes on Boxing Day.
Klopp claims that Vardy has been one of the best three strikers in the Premier League during his four-year spell at the club so far.
Vardy has scored 17 Premier League goals for Leicester this season, making him the top scorer in the division.
Speaking to The Daily Mail, Klopp said this:
We will try [to stop him].
He is one of the top three strikers in England since I have been here.
Always difficult to defend. We just try to avoid the passes to him.

That is what we will try. Brendan has done an excellent job. Top-class team. Exceptional quality.

There is no doubting that Liverpool’s defence needs to be at it’s best to deal with the threat of Jamie Vardy. The former England international has scored in nine of his last 10 league matches – including last week against Manchester City – and will be eager to add to his tally against the Reds.
His movement off the ball is incredible and James Maddison, more often than not, is able to pick him out with exceptional passes. This added in with Vardy’s clinical finishing makes him one of the best strikers in the league, as Klopp says.
