Jurgen Klopp wants Adam Lallana to extend his stay at Liverpool, but is resigned to losing him on a free transfer next summer.
That’s according to the Telegraph, who claim the 31-year-old will leave the Reds when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Klopp is willing to give the midfielder a one-year extension, but it is believed his mind is already made up.
Lallana has shown some good form this season, also proving to be a leader off the pitch, as Liverpool threaten to break various records on their way to potential Premier League glory.
A host of clubs are thought to be interested in the former Southampton captain, who has been at Anfield since 2014.

Lallana’s Liverpool career has been a little underwhelming, in truth, with injuries and consistency often deceiving him.
If he could go out on a high, however, everything in the past will be forgotten and he will leave the Reds a true hero.
His performances this season have been good on the whole, including against Wolves on Sunday, when he assisted Sadio Mane for the only goal of the game.
