Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Joel Matip, Dejan Lovren, Fabinho and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are all recovering well from their respective injury problems.
Liverpool have had to make do without the quartet recently, but they have dealt with the issue superbly.
Despite this, the Reds will be desperate to have Matip, Lovren, Fabinho and Oxlade-Chamberlain back in the near future.
Speaking in his pre-Sheffield United press conference, Klopp said the foursome won’t be back in the near future, but it won’t be long until they are in the team again:
All in a good way, but from the longer-term injuries there’s nobody back. Ox looks good, Joel looks good, Fabinho looks good, Lovren looks good, but not ready.
It will be the same group as last time (against Sheffield United).

A narrative this season is that Liverpool have been fortunate with injuries, when Klopp actually has plenty of absentees to contend with.
Matip and Lovren were both playing well before injury, particularly the former, while Fabinho is arguably the Reds’ most important midfielder.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was also an influential presence before his latest layoff, bringing dynamism to the middle of the park.
Hopefully, it won’t be long before Klopp can call on them again, allowing him to rotate more.
