Liverpool are hoping that Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri return to training this week, as reported on Goal.
Fabinho has been absent since the end of November after suffering ankle ligament damage in the UEFA Champions League clash with Napoli at Anfield.

As for Shaqiri, he has been nursing a hamstring problem in recent weeks but the Reds are hoping that the duo can be back on the training turf this week ahead of the crunch Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
Jordan Henderson has stepped in to fill Fabinho’s boots expertly and the Brazilian could find it difficult to win his position back in the starting team.

The clash with Tottenham is a big test for Liverpool, who are coasting at the top of the league table at the moment.
Jose Mourinho’s side are struggling and will be without Harry Kane after he picked up a hamstring injury against Southampton.
The return of the two players will be a big boost for Liverpool because it will give them plenty of options for the remainder of the season as the fixtures come thick and fast. Fabinho was crucial for the Reds in the first couple of months of the campaign and hopefully, he’ll be back to his best soon.
