The Reds travel to North London hoping to extend their lead at the top of the table, and their counterparts will evidently be without a key man.

Sissoko has made seven starts in the Premier League since Jose Mourinho’s appointment, but the Portuguese tactician will not be able to call upon the Frenchman at the weekend.

It’s set to be an intense affair when Liverpool lock horns with Tottenham, and Jurgen Klopp’s men will be in confident mood.
Following a 2-0 win over Sheffield United in their previous top-flight outing, backed up by an impressive 1-0 victory against Everton in the FA Cup, Liverpool are in fine form.
Tottenham, on the other hand, have been struggling. They lost to Southampton on New Year’s Day and were held 1-1 by Championship side Middlesbrough on Sunday.

Sissoko’s absence could come as a blow for Mourinho’s plans to thwart Liverpool, particularly given the recent fitness concerns surrounding Tanguy Ndombele.
Eric Dier could step up to plug the gaps in Tottenham’s midfield, but the dynamism and intensity with which Klopp’s midfield operates could prove too powerful.
However, the Reds will be feeling invincible following such a strong first half of the season, and anyone who stands before them faces an almighty test.
