Timo Werner will remain at RB Leipzig until the end of the season, despite having a €50 million release clause, according to The Athletic.
The German is a highly sought-after striker, having scored 84 goals in just 139 appearances for the Bundesliga side.
Liverpool are one of those to have been linked with signing Werner, with a January move even mooted.
Chelsea have also emerged as candidates to bring the 23-year-old to the Premier League, with this latest report describing him as being one of the ‘main names’ on their ‘wish-list’.
Werner will be going nowhere for the time being, however, but he is keen on a move to England.

We believe Werner would be a fantastic signing for Liverpool, in many ways embodying the ideal Jurgen Klopp player.
He is ruthless in front of goal, as highlighted by his aforementioned scoring record, but he is also unselfish, chipping in with seven assists in all competitions this season.
Werner works tirelessly for an energetic Leipzig side, which will also appeal to Klopp, and his ability to play anywhere across a front-three is an added bonus.
The biggest negative against a move is a potential lack of playing time, assuming Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino all stay put this summer.
Not starting regularly, unless Klopp switched to a 4-2-3-1 formation with Firmino sitting deeper, could mean Werner looks for a different suitor.
