Liverpool moved 16 points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a 1-0 win away at Tottenham on Saturday.
Roberto Firmino scored the only goal of the game as Jurgen Klopp’s men were able to defend well and come back to Merseyside with all three points.

A goal worthy of winning any game. But it must be said that Jordan Henderson and Mo Salah played a huge part, winning the ball back and then playing Firmino in, as they battled hard in the build-up. After that, though, it was just pure brilliance from Firmino.
His first touch, on his weaker foot, took the Spurs defender completely out of the picture and then he had the composure to steady himself and find the bottom corner with a clinical finish. Firmino has yet to hit double figures for goals in the Premier League this season, but his work off the ball and his ability to link up play and aid Sadio Mane and Mo Salah – along with moments of brilliance like this – make him a top player for Liverpool.
