Manchester United legend Gary Neville made a pre-season prediction that is looking increasingly foolish by the week.
Speaking back in August, the Sky Sports pundit tipped United to win a Premier League title before Liverpool.
The Reds beat their rivals 2-0 at Anfield on Sunday, however, moving 16 points clear of Manchester City, with a game in hand.
After the game, Jamie Carragher tweeted a clip of Neville’s comments, leading to him being mocked by supporters.

Read Liverpool Verdict
I think this was Liverpool’s most significant win of the season so far – those scenes at the final whistle suggested the fans think the title is finally on its way to Anfield.
Neville’s comments felt bizarre at the time, in my opinion, and they are now looking ridiculous, with 30 points separating the two rivals.
I believe he was acting more like a fan than a pundit, puffing his chest out and being reckless about United’s future chances and Liverpool not kicking on after missing out to City last season.
This Reds team is here to stay, while United continue to look distinctly average under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, despite a spirited second half showing on Sunday.
