Fans can’t believe Bournemouth paid Liverpool £19m for Solanke

Jurgen Klopp and Michael Edwards have been magnificent in the transfer market at Liverpool.

The vast majority of their signings have been huge success stories, whether it be Virgil van Dijk, Alisson, Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane.

It has helped take Liverpool to the top of the world game, with Champions League and Club World Cup glory secured last year.

One player who flopped at Anfield, however, was Dominic Solanke.

The striker joined from Chelsea in 2017, but only managed to score one goal in 27 appearance for the Reds.

He was swiftly shipped off to Bournemouth last summer, with Liverpool managing to get £19 million for his services.

Solanke has struggled, though, scoring just once and still waiting for his first Premier League goal for the Cherries.

He was below-par again on Monday night, as Bournemouth were beaten 2-1 at home to Arsenal in the FA Cup fourth round.

These Liverpool supporters, and some fans of rival clubs, cannot believe how much money the Reds received for the 22-year-old, praising Klopp and Edwards in the process.
