Liverpool are on the verge of ending their association with New Balance, having had them as the club’s kit sponsor since 2012.
The Reds will switch their allegiances to Nike from next season onwards, in what represents an exciting step in the right direction for the Reds.
Arguably the world’s biggest sports manufacturer, the hope is that the new deal generates more money for new signings, also taking the club to another level, in terms of its all-round stature.
There is much excitement surrounding Liverpool’s first-ever Nike-sponsored kit, with Footy Headlines releasing a description of the new home strip.

It is described as being similar to Portugal’s 2018 World Cup kit, with the shirt dark red in its nature, with a white trim.
The shirt, which is due to be available to purchase from June 1st, is accompanied by Reds shorts and socks.
New kits are always a popular subject and it will be fascinating to see how Liverpool’s latest attire looks upon completion.
Hopefully, Jurgen Klopp’s men will be donning the strip as the new champions of England next season.
