Many Liverpool supporters are delighted to see Andy Robertson return for the Champions League meeting with Atletico Madrid.
Anfield is preparing to host another huge European night on Wednesday night, as the Reds aim for a quarter-final berth.
Trailing 1-0 from the first leg, a massive performance is required from the Champions League holders.
Liverpool had to make do without Robertson in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Bournemouth, but the left-back is set to start against Atletico, according to the Daily Mail.
The 25-year-old was left out of the weekend match as a precaution, but he is back and raring to go, confirming as much on Tuesday.
Robertson is going to be a key figure down the left flank, up against an Atletico side famed for being difficult to break down.
His return is, therefore, an almighty boost to Liverpool’s chances of progressing to the last-eight yet again, having also achieved the feat in 2017/18 and 2018/19, reaching the final on both occasions, too.
These Reds fans have taken to Twitter to speak of their delight at his return.
