I think the Nigerian international could be a great addition for the Reds, potentially coming in as a replacement for Divock Origi. Strong in the air – he has won an average of 4.4 aerial duels in the league this season – and blessed with good pace, he could add more depth and quality behind Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
At 21, he could also be one for the future, with long-term planning key under Jurgen Klopp.
Origi has been tipped to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, having struggled to make an impact in 2019/20. While he will rightly forever be a hero in the eyes of many following his huge goals against Everton, Barcelona and Tottenham last season, his all-round game is too often lacking.
His decision-making can let him down and five goals in 36 appearances this season is a disappointing return.
