Premier League leaders Liverpool will hope to return to winning ways when they face Crystal Palace at Anfield this Wednesday night.
The Reds resumed their season after lockdown with a dull goalless draw against Everton. They still are 20 points ahead of second-placed Manchester City, requiring only five points from the remaining eight games to clinch the title.
However, it won’t be easy against Palace, a team who have a good record at Anfield. They have won three times there in six visits since getting promoted to the Premier League in 2013.
Liverpool looked short on rhythm and quality in the final third on Sunday. Manager Jurgen Klopp will be hoping for a better performance in the midweek.
He welcomes Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson back into the mix but, Joel Matip and James Milner will miss this game after sustaining injuries against Everton.
