Liverpool are interested in making a move for Watford forward Ismaila Sarr, according to a report from The Mirror.
Sarr famously scored two goals against the Reds during Watford’s 3-0 win back in February, the first league defeat that Jurgen Klopp’s side suffered all season.
The 22-year-old only arrived at Watford last summer, joining the club from Rennes in a deal worth around £30m and he has scored five goals and has five assists in 26 league games this season.
However, he could find himself on the move, especially if the Hornets are relegated, which is a realistic potential outcome, given their current points total and upcoming fixtures.

Sarr, a good friend and international teammate of Sadio Mane, would likely jump at the chance to join Liverpool if that opportunity ever arose.
If Watford are relegated, then it’s not unfathomable to imagine that the Senegalese star would push for a transfer and if the Reds have the money to spend, a deal for Sarr would make a lot of sense.
