It seems like forever ago since the Reds were last in action. An uncharacteristic week-long break will come to an end on Wednesday, as Chelsea visit the home of the champions.
Following a disappointing 2-1 away defeat to Arsenal last time out, Liverpool will be determined to finish a fantastic season in the strongest possible manner.
Chelsea will be buoyed by the prospect of an upcoming FA Cup Final after their 3-1 victory over Man United in Sunday’s semi-final. They sit third, one point ahead of both Leicester and Man United in the race for the top four, something Liverpool fans no longer need to worry about.
After the match, Liverpool will be presented with their individual medals as well as the Premier League trophy and they will hope to put some added gloss on the celebrations with a victory over Champions League-chasing Chelsea.
The last time the two sides met in the league, a Trent Alexander-Arnold free-kick and another away goal for Roberto Firmino gave the visitors a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge.
Despite being unable to reach the 100 points mark and after relinquishing a perfect home record, the Liverpool squad will be desperate to further rubber stamp their champions status with a strong final home outing here.
Here’s the team we think Klopp will select for the final home game of the season.
