Ligue 1 side Montpellier are interested in signing Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius and according to a report from Neil Jones of Goal, The Reds are willing to sell the German for £6million.
That fee is the same amount that was included as a purchase option in the loan deal that took Karius to Besiktas but they chose not to activate that option after a public disagreement took place between the player and the Turkish side.
As he’s not involved in the Liverpool squad currently, Karius is currently in Germany where he’s continuing to keep himself in shape ahead of a possible summer move.
Liverpool have already told Karius’ agent that he can look for a move this summer but The Reds intend to get their £6million asking price before accepting any bids.

It looks certain that Karius’ Liverpool career is coming to an end, even though he has two years left on his contract.
He clearly doesn’t have the trust of Jurgen Klopp and with Liverpool having Alisson, Adrian and Caoimhin Kelleher in their firest-team set up, there’s no room for Karius.
Whether Montpellier or any other side are willing to pay £6million for the German remains to be seen but Liverpool have been very good at getting decent fees for unwanted players in the past so there’s no reason to think they won’t get thier asking price for Karius.
