Reading are closing in on the signing of Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria, according to Berkshire Live.
The 22-year-old looks set to complete his £3.5 million switch this week, where he spent time on loan for the duration of the 2019/20 campaign.
The move was due to be completed immediately following the season as part of the agreement which saw the winger join the Championship club on loan.
However, following a transfer embargo placed on the Royals, the deal was delayed, although now that has been lifted and the transfer looks set to take place.

Ejaria looks set to leave the Reds after making just eight first-team appearances following his arrival from Arsenal in 2014.
Once a highly thought of prospect who represented England Under-21s in 2018, Ejaria’s stock has fallen somewhat and he will be grateful for a move away from Anfield to see prolonged first-team action.
The winger impressed during his time at the Madjeski Stadium, scoring four goals in 52 appearances across two spells, earning his permanent move.
For the Premier League champions, the transfer will provide a boost to Jurgen Klopp’s transfer kitty as the German boss looks to prepare his squad for a title defence in 2020/21.
