Two of Liverpool’s fringe players are being lined up for transfers by Championship club Nottingham Forest, according to Goal.
Defender Nat Phillips and winger Sheyi Ojo are reported targets for Forest’ manager Sabri Lamouchi as he looks to plot his side’s route to promotion.
Having sold full-back Matty Cash to Aston Villa in a deal worth £16 million this week, the City Ground coffers have seen a boost and some of that money could be spent on the Reds’ squad members.
Forest arent the only side interested, however, a host of other Championship clubs are said to be keen on the two players.
Phillps has attracted plenty of potential European suitors following his performances whilst on loan at VfB Stuttgart during the 2019/20 season.
Rangers, meanwhile, were previously touted as the favourites to take Ojo, the winger having spent a season on loan at Ibrox, although interest from Steven Gerrard’s side has since cooled.

Neither player looks to have a first-team future at Anfield as Jurgen Klopp prepares his squad for the 2020/21 campaign.
The pair could be amongst a group of Reds squad players on their way out this summer as Klopp trims his squad and boosts his own transfer funds and in the case of this duo, letting them leave seems like the best option for all parties.
