Liverpool and Tottenham are among the clubs interested in a move for Kalvin Phillips next summer, according to the Mirror.
The Reds are reportedly keen on signing the Leeds United midfielder in a deal that could be worth as much as £50million,.
Phillips has become a hugely important player for Leeds since making his debut back in 2015, helping inspire Marcelo Bielsa’s side to promotion to the Premier League last season.
The 24-year-old’s excellent form has also been rewarded at international level, with Phillips winning four caps for England to date.
The midfielder’s current deal at Elland Road runs until 2024, although it is stated that Liverpool and Spurs could double his current £30,000-a-week earnings.

Phillips is certainly a good player, as outlined by his influence at Leeds, but he needs to do it for a whole season in the Premier League before being worthy of such a hefty price tag.
The early signs suggest he is good enough to play for a top-six club, though, and at 24, he would be a long-term acquisition for Liverpool.
With James Milner and Jordan Henderson both in their 30s now, and Gini Wijnaldum reaching that milestone next month, Jurgen Klopp needs to be planning for the future.
Phillips possesses both the quality on the ball and work-rate off it to fit into Liverpool system, with the Leeds star enjoying an 82 percent pass completion rate in the league this season, as well as averaging 4.3 tackles and 2.0 interceptions per game.
