Footballing legend Marco van Basten believes Ajax should target Liverpool’s youngsters in their Champions League clash.
The pair meet at Anfield on Tuesday evening, with victory for the Reds guaranteeing a place in the knockout stages.
Liverpool are still ravaged by injuries, which means young duo Neco Williams and Rhys Williams could potentially start.
Speaking on Ziggo Sport show Rondo [via Sport Witness], Van Basten, one of the best strikers of all time, outlined where he thinks his former club can get the better of the Premier League champions on Tuesday night:
They now have a number of other defenders, and they really make the mistakes.
If Ajax has to play against these guys, they really have to go on the attack. Defending is not Liverpool’s strongest point at the moment.

It looks highly likely that Neco Williams will start the game, considering both Trent Alexander-Arnold and James Milner are injured.
The hope is that Joel Matip is fit enough to return at centre-back alongside Fabinho, however, making Liverpool more secure defensively.
Jurgen Klopp’s men will need to be much improved from the performance against Atalanta last week, when the Reds were flat throughout.
They should be far more switched on, though, knowing that a win will mean a second-string team can be fielded away to Midtjylland next Wednesday.
