Liverpool were imperious on Sunday night, thrashing Wolves 4-0 at Anfield and returning to second place in the Premier League.
It was a special evening on Merseyside, as 2,000 supporters were allowed back into the Reds’ world-famous stadium, and they were treated to a superb performance.
Wolves actually made a bright start to proceedings, but Mohamed Salah fired Liverpool in front, capitalising on Conor Coady’s mistake.
After the break, Jurgen Klopp’s men pulled away, with Gini Wijnaldum and Joel Matip both finding the net.
Nelson Semedo scored an own goal to complete the scoring, on a perfect night for Liverpool.
It was a perfect display, in many ways, with a clean sheet recorded and some scintillating attacking football on show.
Not a single Liverpool player performed badly at Anfield, with many in the running for the Match of the Match award at the final whistle.
